Years ago everything was created on-site requiring additional time and specialized trades to custom make things like trusses and cabinets. We would not consider doing this now days.
When possible we utilize prefab components, wall panels, floor assemblies, stairs and other off-site approaches whenever possible due to their time savings, consistency, accuracy and other benefits.
